Angelus Oaks, California
San Bernardino Peak is a frequently forgotten peak of the Six-Pack of Peaks challenge. This semi-strenuous hike has a great mix of scenery ranging from dirt trails to bright green hills. The trail also makes for an excellent backpacking trip (permit required) to a campground at Limber Pine Bench that you are sure to have by yourself. Lucky for me, this trip completed my Six-Pack of Peaks challenge and I'll continue to use these hikes as my training ground for future 14'er trips.
